Reading Wrap Up- December (2019)

I did not read very much last month… Between work, baking too many cookies, and the holidays, I just didn’t get around to reading much. But I did read 5 books, so let’s talk about them!

One of Us Is Next by Karen M. McManus

#1 & 2: One of Us Is Next by Karen M. McManus- 5/5 Stars

Guys. This book was SO GOOD! The publisher sent me an early copy so I read it in one day and then read it again the day after. I actually wrote a pretty in depth review on Goodreads if anyone was interested in hearing my thoughts on one of my most anticipated books of 2020!

Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard

#3. Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard- 4.5/5 Stars

I was in a big Witchlands mood and realized I hadn’t read Bloodwitch since it came out in February? Which is a crime in itself so I did myself the favor of rereading it and I love these characters and books SO DAMN MUCH. I neeeeed Iseult’s book !

You'd Be Mine by Erin Hahn

#4. You’d Be Mine by Erin Hahn- 3.5/5 Stars

I have heard nothing but good things about this book (Thanks, Lauren ;p) and when I saw it was on sale for $2.99 on the Kindle, how could I resist? I read it over the course of a few days and it reminded me a lot of Daisy Jones & The Six, and I need more books like these please and thanks.

small potatoes by Sarah Hunt

#5. Small Potatoes: The Leftover Beef From A Lovable Curmudgeon by Sarah Hunt- 5/5 Stars

I bought Kindle Unlimited for 3 months so I could read Sarah’s next book and is anyone really surprised? I loved it and it left me wanting more! You guys need to go read Sarah’s books if you need a break from your life for an hour. They’re funny, relate-able, and distracting so definitely read those while at work this is a foolproof plan

As far as last books of the decade go, these aren’t bad choices at all! I can’t wait to see what these authors bring into the next decade!

Happy New Year, everyone!
